Job Description

Responsibilities

    Job Responsibilities

    -      Prepare menus in collaborating with colleagues

    -         Control food cost by minimizing spoilage, maintain adequate inventory of food items, utilizing food surpluses, exercising portion control

    -      Check daily mis-en-place, preparation, cooking and presentation of all food

    -         Follow the guidance of the head chef or outlet Manager and have input in new ways of presentation or dishes

    -         Put effort in optimizing the cooking process with attention to speed and quality

    -         Enforce strict health and hygiene standards

    -         Build an efficient team of employees by taking an actual interest in their welfare, safety,   security, training and development

Requirements
    Job Requirement
    -  At least SPM/Diploma/Professional degree in Food & Beverage services management or equivalent

    -  Required languages : English and Bahasa Malaysia  

    At least 5 years' working experiences in related field in hospitality industries is preferred.

    -  Required skills : Responsible, reliable, independent, excellent teamwork, honest, efficient and professional at work

    -  Able to carry out multi-tasking and work independently with minimum supervision
    -  Able to work on shift, weekends and Public Holidays
    -  Preferably Sarawakian, muslim applicants
