Job Description


    • To assist in the preparation of food for guest and staff under the supervision of your Chef de Partie or Sous Chef
    • To maintain and achieve a high standard of food quality, preparation, production and to assist in service under guidance from Chef de Partie or Sous Chef
    • To aid in achieving food cost, kitchen standard and overall objectives and helping Commis learn to improve their ability
    • To ensure minimum kitchen wastage
    • To assist in monitor stock movement and be responsible for ordering on kitchen section
    • Follow kitchen policies, procedures and service standard
    • Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
    • Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by Head of Department

    • At least 2 year (s) of working experience in the Food & Beverage industry or in the related field
    • At least Certificate in Culinary Arts or equivalent
    • Excellent knowledge of a variety of foods, food presentation procedures, culinary skills and ability to operate specialized equipment
    • Creative, able to work independently with minimal supervision, open minded towards customer feedback
